Which candidates need to take an English test? Universa requires an English test score from those candidates choosing to follow the programme in French (Tage-Mage test and interview in French)
The objective is to evaluate the English level of the candidate: spoken understanding, reading comprehension, grammar and written expression.
NB. Native English-speaking candidates, those candidates supplying a GMAT score and/or candidates having previously studied in an English-language University do not need to take this test.
Which English test to choose? Candidates must apply to take one of the following tests (or provide a score for one of these tests if they already have one):

- TOEIC: information and application at http://www.ets.org
- IELTS: information and application at http://www.ielts.org
- “France and Morocco Special” English test: organised by Universa for date in France and in Morocco (see online application form)

What English test score does Universa require? The following scores should be used as a guide:
- TOEFL score: 220 computer based, 550 paper based, 80 internet based
- IELTS score: 6
- TOEIC score: 750
